Job Description

Overview

  • Lead IT procurement initiatives, ensuring optimal vendor selection and contract management for technology goods and services.
  • Collaborate with IT leadership to align procurement strategies with organizational goals and technology infrastructure needs.
  • Analyze market trends and pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities and enhance procurement efficiency.
  • Manage vendor relationships, onboarding, and performance improvement initiatives to ensure service quality and reliability.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and maintain accurate documentation of procurement activities.
  • Utilize procurement systems and tools to streamline purchasing processes and track inventory effectively.
  • Support audit reporting and financial reconciliation efforts in collaboration with Finance and Accounting teams.
  • Promote adherence to best practices in procurement, fostering continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Identify and evaluate vendors for IT hardware, software, and services based on cost, quality, and reliability.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage renewals to secure optimal terms and pricing.
  • Analyze spending patterns and ensure adherence to approved budgets and procurement policies.
  • Monitor supplier performance, conducting regular business reviews to ensure service excellence.
  • Maintain procurement records, including purchase orders, invoices, and compliance documentation.
  • Collaborate with Vendor Management Office and contract review attorneys on contract amendments and negotiations.
  • Utilize ServiceNow ticketing system for tracking purchases and inventory management.
  • Support lifecycle workflow management, including lease schedules and capital asset reporting.
  • Coordinate with Accounts Payable for invoice processing and vendor payment inquiries.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or Supply Chain Management.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in IT procurement, vendor management, or technology sourcing.
  • Proficiency in procurement systems, data analytics tools, and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong understanding of IT hardware, software, cloud services, and industry trends.
  • Exceptional analytical and negotiation skills to achieve cost savings and favorable terms.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with stakeholders and vendors.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, adapt to changing priorities, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Experience in professional services or legal industry preferred.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
