Overview

  • Lead the development of advanced computer vision algorithms and systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design innovative solutions in visual perception and understanding.
  • Play a pivotal role in architectural decisions, research initiatives, and mentoring junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Utilize expertise in image and video processing, deep learning, and real-time vision systems to drive impactful advancements in the field.
  • Contribute to the development and optimization of algorithms for object detection, segmentation, tracking, and 3D reconstruction.
  • Work with large-scale datasets to train and evaluate deep learning models using industry-standard frameworks.
  • Integrate vision algorithms into production systems, ensuring optimal performance on edge or cloud platforms.
  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in computer vision, proposing innovative solutions to complex challenges.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements and contribute to strategic roadmaps.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Design and optimize algorithms for tasks such as object detection, segmentation, and 3D reconstruction.
  • Train and evaluate deep learning models using frameworks like PyTorch and TensorFlow.
  • Integrate and optimize vision algorithms for real-time performance on various platforms.
  • Collaborate with researchers and engineers to implement cutting-edge research into scalable products.
  • Conduct code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and promote best practices in engineering workflows.
  • Engage with product managers to define technical requirements and project roadmaps.
  • Stay updated with advancements in computer vision and propose innovative solutions.
  • Contribute to the development of robust and efficient computer vision systems for diverse applications.

Job Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in computer vision, image processing, or related areas.
  • Proficiency in Python and C++ programming languages.
  • Expertise in deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
  • Experience with OpenCV, Open3D, DLib, and similar vision libraries.
  • Knowledge of camera calibration, stereo vision, SLAM, and related techniques.
  • Familiarity with GPU programming, CUDA, and TensorRT is advantageous.
  • Published work in top-tier CV/ML conferences is highly desirable.
