Job Description

Overview

  • Assist in managing ground-up cold storage construction projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
  • Coordinate with project teams to maintain schedules and budgets for construction activities.
  • Support the Superintendent in overseeing daily site operations and ensuring safety compliance.
  • Travel to various project locations to provide on-site supervision and management.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure project specifications are met.
  • Contribute to problem-solving efforts to address construction challenges effectively.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of project progress and report to senior management.
  • Participate in quality control inspections and ensure adherence to industry standards.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Assist in planning and executing construction activities for cold storage facilities.
  • Monitor project schedules and budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies on-site.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to maintain project timelines.
  • Support the Superintendent in managing site personnel and resolving issues.

Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction management or a related role.
  • Proficiency in construction project management software and tools.
  • Strong knowledge of ground-up construction processes and safety regulations.
  • Ability to travel extensively to various project locations as required.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills for managing teams and stakeholders.
