Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee on-site construction activities, including subcontractor coordination, scheduling, and quality control.
  • Lead daily site meetings to ensure effective communication and progress tracking.
  • Review plans and specifications to anticipate and resolve potential field issues.
  • Maintain a proactive focus on safety, ensuring compliance with OSHA standards.
  • Collaborate with project management teams to ensure timely completion of project milestones.
  • Mentor assistant superintendents and field staff to foster professional growth and performance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and trade partners.
  • Ensure adherence to construction methods and standards for optimal project outcomes.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; advanced certifications preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction projects.
  • Proven expertise in managing light industrial, healthcare, or higher education projects.
  • Proficiency in construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Project.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and safety management.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • Truck allowance or company truck provided as part of compensation.
