Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Perform site-level accounting, analysis, and reporting for a portfolio of commercial properties.
- Manage month-end and quarter-end close processes in line with established schedules.
- Prepare schedules, workpapers, and analyses of net operating income components.
- Analyze budget and quarter-over-quarter variances, providing detailed explanations.
- Process revenue recovery true-up adjustments and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Review trial balances and collaborate with internal teams to address discrepancies.
- Support special projects and ad hoc reporting requirements as needed.
- Maintain compliance with accounting standards and organizational policies.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of accounting experience; 2 years preferred.
- Experience in commercial real estate accounting is advantageous.
- Proficiency in real estate and accounting systems such as MRI, JDE, or Oracle.
- Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups).
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a team environment and meet deadlines efficiently.
