Job Description

Overview

  • Collaborate with the trade execution team to manage funding transactions and client relationships.
  • Engage in structured funding transactions including repo, securities lending, and swaps.
  • Develop and price funding solutions using financial modeling tools like Excel.
  • Ensure compliance with internal approval processes and transaction documentation standards.
  • Work closely with origination teams to deliver tailored solutions to banking clients.
  • Contribute to the valuation of securities in swap transactions and negotiation of deal documents.
  • Operate in a dynamic environment requiring attention to detail and client-focused mindset.
  • Report onsite at least four days per week, collaborating with team members effectively.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage and execute funding transactions including repo, securities lending, swaps, and loans.
  • Coordinate hedging activities for swap transactions involving diverse securities.
  • Prepare and review transaction documentation ensuring alignment with agreed terms.
  • Negotiate and finalize deal documents such as ISDAs, GMSLAs, and MRAs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams for transaction approvals and addressing inquiries.
  • Assist in financial modeling and pricing of funding solutions using Excel.
  • Support ad-hoc projects and initiatives as directed by management.
  • Develop rapport with clients, ensuring a client-oriented approach in all interactions.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree with minimum two years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in derivatives, repo, and funding markets; familiarity with TRS and fixed income swaps preferred.
  • Experience in financial modeling using Excel and presentation creation with PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of financing documentation such as GMRA, GMSLA, and ISDA agreements.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in dynamic environments.
  • Client-oriented mindset with ability to adapt and improve internal processes.
  • Experience in equity prime brokerage or structured funding environments beneficial.
  • Willingness to follow procedures and contribute to organizational goals effectively.
