Job Description

Overview

  • Serve as a Business Analyst in a remote contract role, translating business requirements into technical workflows and documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper implementation of project requirements and system functionalities.
  • Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project goals and deliverables.
  • Support business stakeholders with data analysis, reporting, and anomaly identification.
  • Utilize Power BI for data visualization and insights to drive decision-making.
  • Contribute to the development of compliance-related platforms and systems architecture.
  • Engage in Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, for efficient project execution.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Draft business requirement documents (BRDs), user stories, and functional specifications.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, System Engineers, Developers, QA, and Compliance teams.
  • Analyze data for trends and anomalies to support business stakeholders.
  • Document technical materials and user-facing instructions, ensuring clarity and usability.
  • Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical teams to ensure project success.
  • Apply knowledge of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and tools like Jira and Confluence.
  • Support compliance-related platform development and integration tasks.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or related role.
  • Proficiency in Power BI for data analysis and visualization.
  • Experience in anti-financial crimes data analysis and compliance domains preferred.
  • Knowledge of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and tools like Jira and Confluence.
  • Understanding of IT systems architecture and data exchange in compliance platforms.
  • Experience with Salesforce, cloud environments, or case management platforms preferred.
