Job Description

Overview

  • Lead construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and safety standards.
  • Manage commercial construction projects, with a preference for automotive dealership and ground-up development experience.
  • Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders to achieve project objectives and satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement project schedules and budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost control.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations and construction standards.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering collaboration and productivity.
  • Utilize industry best practices to optimize project delivery and quality outcomes.
  • Ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet client expectations.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Coordinate and oversee all aspects of construction projects, including planning, execution, and completion.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Supervise subcontractors and ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure project alignment.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders, highlighting key milestones and outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery and client satisfaction.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction project management.
  • Proven expertise in managing ground-up construction projects, preferably automotive dealerships.
  • Strong knowledge of project scheduling, budgeting, and resource management.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage teams and collaborate effectively.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and construction standards.
  • Ability to work on-site and oversee project activities directly.
  • Preferred certifications: PMP or equivalent project management certification.
