Job Description

Overview

  • Provide administrative support for benefits during open enrollment and year-round.
  • Act as the first point of contact for employee benefits inquiries.
  • Assist with benefits data management, reporting, and communication.
  • Coordinate with insurance brokers and HR partners for smooth benefits administration.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Support new hire enrollments and qualifying life event processes.
  • Temporary-to-permanent role offering professional growth opportunities.
  • Fully remote position with equipment provided by the client.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Respond to employee inquiries via email, chat, or phone regarding benefits options.
  • Support the Benefits Manager in managing open enrollment materials and communications.
  • Perform accurate data entry and updates in HRIS systems like ADP Lyric.
  • Coordinate with insurance brokers for eligibility verifications and claim escalations.
  • Audit enrollment data for accuracy before and after open enrollment.
  • Assist with benefits reporting, reconciliations, and other administrative tasks.
  • Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of employee benefits records.
  • Provide professional and friendly communication to employees and partners.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts degree required, preferably in Human Resources or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in HR or benefits administration.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems, such as ADP Lyric, for benefits management.
  • Knowledge of benefits plans, open enrollment processes, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) or relevant coursework preferred.
  • Ability to handle high-volume inquiries with professionalism and accuracy.
