Job Description

Overview

  • Provide on-site IT support for healthcare clients across multiple locations, ensuring seamless operations and resolving technical issues promptly.
  • Act as the initial point of contact for resolving client requests and delivering exceptional customer service experiences daily.
  • Leverage organizational resources to address complex client issues efficiently, following standard escalation procedures.
  • Support the usability of desktop computers, mobile devices, telephony systems, servers, storage, networking, and software.
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting, including virus, malware, and ransomware mediation, ensuring system security and functionality.
  • Install and upgrade Microsoft Windows Server Operating Systems and manage virtual environments using VMware ESXi and Hyper-V.
  • Collaborate with vendor representatives to resolve hardware and software issues effectively.
  • Maintain high-quality documentation and ensure professional server room cable management practices.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Resolve service tickets and troubleshoot client emergencies with minimal oversight, escalating complex issues as needed.
  • Assist clients with system design, installation, configuration, and ongoing usability of technical systems and equipment.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs of client technical systems and equipment.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and debug complex technical systems and software issues.
  • Ensure client network closets are organized, labeled, and documented accurately.
  • Participate in project planning, solution delivery, and mentoring team members on improved processes.
  • Comply with safety requirements and demonstrate a proactive approach toward health, safety, and quality standards.
  • Maintain local spare parts inventories and record time, travel expenses, and client log records accurately.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in a technology-related field or equivalent education and work experience.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years as a Systems Engineer or similar role in Microsoft environments.
  • Preferred certifications include Network+, Server+, Windows Server 70-410, 98-365, or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Windows servers, Active Directory, SQL, SharePoint, Exchange Servers, and Backup Technologies.
  • Knowledge of VMware, Citrix, VPN, Terminal Services, VoIP, and vendor-specific hardware/software.
  • Strong problem-solving and client relationship skills with excellent communication abilities.
  • Ability to learn and retain new technology skills and troubleshooting processes effectively.
  • Valid state driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel within a 130-mile radius.
