Job Description

Overview

  • Lead financial reporting initiatives for a global wealth advisory firm.
  • Contribute to international business consolidation and accounting policy alignment.
  • Support implementation of financial reporting tools for global operations.
  • Engage in technical accounting assessments for complex transactions.
  • Perform valuations and share return calculations across global share classes.
  • Assist in financial integration of international group structures.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR).
  • Collaborate with senior team members to resolve complex financial issues.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Consolidate international business operations and align accounting policies.
  • Assess financial performance and prepare technical accounting policy memos.
  • Calculate valuations and share returns for global share classes.
  • Implement financial reporting tools for international business activities.
  • Evaluate and document internal controls over financial reporting.
  • Test design and effectiveness of financial controls and mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with VP Accounting and CFO to ensure financial compliance.
  • Provide critical insights and strategic recommendations on financial matters.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting or related field required.
  • US CPA or equivalent international certification preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Big 4 or public accounting.
  • Proven expertise in technical accounting and complex financial arrangements.
  • Strong understanding of ICFR, risk assessments, and control effectiveness.
  • Ability to self-direct, resolve issues, and collaborate with senior management.
  • Critical thinking skills to analyze and interpret financial data.
  • Experience in financial integration and international business operations.
