Job Description

Overview

  • Lead audit engagements, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Plan and execute audit engagements, managing all phases from initiation to completion.
  • Identify audit risks and design effective testing procedures to address them.
  • Perform complex audit tests, including those related to estimates and related party transactions.
  • Draft financial statements and footnotes, ensuring compliance with presentation standards.
  • Investigate discrepancies, propose adjustments, and resolve audit issues efficiently.
  • Monitor engagement hours and manage timelines to optimize efficiency.
  • Research technical accounting and auditing standards for complex issues.
  • Communicate engagement status and findings to managers and partners.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Accounting or related field required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of audit experience; 5 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in auditing standards and financial statement preparation.
  • Strong analytical skills for risk assessment and problem resolution.
  • Excellent communication skills for client and leadership interactions.
  • Ability to manage budgets and timelines effectively.
