Job Description

Overview

  • The Legal Analyst role involves supporting complex financing transactions within the capital markets sector.
  • Collaborate with teams to manage transaction coordination, documentation, and post-closing processes.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment requiring exceptional organizational and detail-oriented skills.
  • Support the execution of financings across global real estate funds.
  • Report directly to the head of Transaction Management within the Capital Markets team.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Coordinate transaction kick-offs, including creating and distributing deal playbooks to teams.
  • Manage transaction closings, checklist calls, and organize internal teams before and after calls.
  • Establish and maintain deal rooms, consolidating legal due diligence and documents.
  • Order and review third-party reports, including title, survey, and environmental assessments.
  • Oversee legal billing processes and track costs for internal and external counsel.
  • Coordinate post-closing document management and distribute final transaction information.
  • Assist with loan asset management, including preparing legal documents and compliance tracking.
  • Support derivative management and bank account strategies in collaboration with treasury teams.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree required, preferably in a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years corporate paralegal or legal analyst experience; transaction paralegal experience preferred.
  • Notary public certification is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and exceptional organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under deadline pressure.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a commitment to professionalism.
  • Comfortable interacting with executives and senior management.
  • Driven, hard-working, and capable of working autonomously or in a team setting.
