Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical projects using industry-standard methodologies and software.
  • Conduct thorough document reviews and project walkthroughs independently.
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to gather project requirements and ensure accurate estimations.
  • Perform takeoffs and cost analyses for projects ranging from $5M to $10M.
  • Utilize AccuBid software proficiently to enhance estimation accuracy and efficiency.
  • Provide expert advice and recommendations to optimize project cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications in all estimations.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in electrical estimating, with a preference for 8 years.
  • Proficiency in AccuBid software for estimation tasks.
  • Ability to independently perform takeoffs and estimate projects valued between $5M and $10M.
  • Strong communication skills to confidently interact with clients and stakeholders.
  • Experience conducting project walkthroughs with minimal assistance.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in electrical estimating.
