Overview

  • Provide exceptional customer service in a dynamic transportation environment, ensuring efficient dispatch operations and timely service delivery.
  • Work part-time onsite, Monday to Wednesday, 9 AM to 5 PM, with potential for full-time hours in the future.
  • Collaborate with drivers, customers, and stakeholders to maintain seamless communication and operations.
  • Utilize dispatch software and tools to monitor and track vehicle and personnel status effectively.
  • Handle emergency situations with prompt solutions, ensuring customer satisfaction and operational continuity.
  • Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities to support operational analysis and reporting.
  • Assist with customer screening processes as needed, enhancing service quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Coordinate and manage the dispatch of vehicles and personnel, ensuring efficient operations.
  • Monitor and track dispatched vehicles and personnel to maintain service standards.
  • Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and stakeholders to address inquiries and issues.
  • Ensure timely and efficient service delivery, meeting client expectations and operational goals.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of dispatch activities for reporting purposes.
  • Handle emergency situations promptly, providing solutions to minimize disruptions.
  • Assist with customer screening processes, ensuring compliance and service quality.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate of Arts (AA) preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of dispatching experience; 3 years preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage dynamic operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations effectively.
  • Familiarity with dispatch software and tools to optimize operations.
  • Experience with customer screening processes preferred but not required.
