Accounting Manager

Overview

• Manage daily, weekly, and monthly accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial standards.
• Perform hands-on tasks including cash management, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.
• Support leadership with actionable financial insights and accurate data analysis.
• Collaborate with external CPAs and attorneys for tax filings and legal compliance.
• Handle e-commerce revenue tracking and forecasting for platforms like Amazon and Shopify.
• Prepare and distribute financial statements, ensuring timely reporting.
• Participate in process improvements and special financial projects as needed.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Reconcile daily cash activities, including receipts and disbursements.
• Monitor and manage accounts receivable aging and collections.
• Process payroll and maintain accurate records for all entities.
• Prepare weekly cash forecasts and customer billings.
• Review and adjust monthly financial statements and balance sheet accounts.
• Collaborate on tax preparation and filing with external CPAs.
• Conduct financial analyses for new initiatives and products.
• Maintain compliance with insurance policies and legal requirements.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience; multi-entity environment preferred.
• Proficiency in GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).
• Experience with e-commerce platforms such as Amazon and Shopify is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
