Job Description

Overview

  • Lead and manage cardiovascular service lines, ensuring high-quality patient care and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee Cardiac Cath Lab, Electrophysiology, and Pre/Post Holding Unit operations.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to promote teamwork and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate, hospital, and regulatory policies and procedures.
  • Act as a liaison with patients and their representatives to address concerns.
  • Maximize resource utilization to enhance productivity and minimize costs.
  • Provide leadership to a team of 26 FTEs across multiple units.
  • Drive initiatives to maintain high performance and service standards.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Plan, direct, and manage cardiovascular services on a 24-hour basis.
  • Ensure staff performance aligns with department responsibilities and goals.
  • Promote teamwork among physicians and healthcare providers.
  • Monitor and optimize department operations for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Maintain compliance with safety policies and procedures.
  • Support patient care excellence and address patient concerns effectively.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to staff across multiple units.
  • Implement strategies to enhance cardiovascular service delivery.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
  • Current Florida RN license or Compact Licensure eligibility.
  • Basic and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certifications within 30 days of employment.
  • Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience in Cath Lab/EP Lab in acute care settings.
  • At least 2 years of management experience in cardiovascular services.
  • Proven leadership experience managing multiple units in cardiovascular service lines.
  • Experience with Neuro and IR procedures preferred.
  • Strong ability to manage resources and optimize operational efficiency.
