Overview

  • Provide essential support in an outpatient clinic, ensuring smooth operations and patient care excellence.
  • Utilize your medical knowledge and skills to assist healthcare professionals effectively.

  • Perform various clinical tasks including phlebotomy, EKGs, and vaccinations.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Perform clinical procedures such as suture removal, phlebotomy, and EKGs.
  • Administer vaccinations and conduct urine dip stick tests.
  • Assist with patient check-in/check-out processes and answering phone calls.
  • Verify insurance information and support billing processes.
  • Maintain familiarity with medications, dosages, and medical terminology.
  • Ensure adherence to clinic protocols and safety standards.
  • Provide excellent patient care and address their concerns effectively.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize clinic operations.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; certification as a Medical Assistant preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical setting.
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMRs).
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with medications/dosages.
  • Experience with clinical procedures such as phlebotomy, EKGs, and vaccinations.
  • Strong work ethic and professional demeanor.
  • Background checks are mandatory for employment.
