Overview
- Lead nursing operations at a dynamic healthcare organization, ensuring compliance and excellence in patient care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote a culture of safety and quality.
- Develop and implement standardized nursing policies and procedures across multiple centers.
- Manage staffing plans, scheduling, and workforce development to optimize operational efficiency.
- Oversee clinical operations to ensure compliance with state, federal, and accrediting body standards.
- Coordinate infection control, medication management, and patient safety initiatives.
- Monitor performance metrics and implement process improvements to enhance patient outcomes.
- Assist in the development of new centers, ensuring all guidelines are met for operational approval.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Provide leadership, direction, and supervision for nursing and clinical teams.
- Collaborate with physicians, administrators, and staff to foster teamwork and quality care.
- Ensure clinical operations meet regulatory and accrediting standards.
- Direct Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement programs across centers.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to clinical care and patient safety.
- Develop orientation, competency, and continuing education programs for staff.
- Mentor and coach nurse managers and staff to foster professional growth.
- Promote adherence to evidence-based practices and continuous learning.
Job Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New York.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master of Science in Nursing preferred.
- Current BLS and ACLS certification required.
- Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive nursing leadership experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in an Ambulatory Surgery Center.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and quality improvement initiatives.
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and drive operational excellence.
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
