Job Description

Overview

  • Support institutional client services and operational processes in a dynamic investment management environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance client experience and operational efficiency.
  • Manage client onboarding, terminations, and service requests using advanced tools and systems.
  • Contribute to process improvement projects aimed at streamlining workflows and enhancing productivity.
  • Provide direct support to the Head of Institutional Services in strategic initiatives.
  • Gain exposure to diverse investment strategies and institutional asset management operations.
  • Document and maintain procedural guidelines to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Engage in a collaborative and fast-paced environment with opportunities for professional growth.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Execute subscription and redemption processes for accounts, mutual funds, and private funds efficiently.
  • Track and manage contractual obligations, ensuring data accuracy and document integrity.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Portfolio Operations, Investor Relations, Finance, Legal, and Compliance teams.
  • Assist with complex client requests and onboarding/offboarding processes.
  • Support process institutionalization and contribute to ad-hoc improvement projects.
  • Monitor project schedules, budgets, and deliverables to ensure timely completion.
  • Maintain and document procedures to support operational consistency and compliance.
  • Provide assistance with Investment Management Agreements and related documentation.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field is required.
  • 1-4 years of experience in financial services, preferably in institutional asset management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; Salesforce experience is advantageous.
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to multitask effectively under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative team player with accountability, integrity, and a strong work ethic.
  • Experience with process improvement and automation projects is a plus.
