Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Greet patients and guests warmly, ensuring a welcoming environment.
  • Monitor patient flow and address registration and check-out processes.
  • Schedule appointments and verify insurance coverage accurately.
  • Assist patients in resolving service or clinical issues effectively.
  • Perform patient care tasks such as vital signs and specimen collection.
  • Coordinate referrals and follow-ups with external specialists.
  • Support health campaigns and initiatives to improve patient outcomes.
  • Document patient care information in electronic medical records.
  • Maintain professionalism and adhere to organizational policies.

Job Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program or eligibility for certification exam.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in an ambulatory care setting.
  • Proficiency in navigating electronic medical records (EMR).
  • Associate degree and 3 years of experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology and patient care protocols.
  • Ability to perform patient care functions and administrative tasks.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Flexibility to work varying hours between 8 AM and 6 PM.
