Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Greet patients and guests warmly, ensuring effective communication and timely assistance.

- Schedule appointments accurately and verify insurance coverage as required.
- Perform direct patient care tasks under supervision, including physical examinations and diagnostic tests.
- Coordinate referrals and follow-ups with specialists, ensuring proper documentation and communication.
- Assist in outreach initiatives targeting at-risk patients to reduce emergency visits.

Job Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
- Completion of accredited Medical Assistant Program or eligibility for certification within 18 months.
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Medical Assistant in ambulatory care; 3 years preferred.
- Proficiency in navigating electronic medical records systems.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and customer service excellence.
- Ability to perform age-specific patient care functions and modify approaches accordingly.
- Flexibility to work varied hours between 8 AM and 6 PM.
