Overview
- Serve as a strategic HR partner, supporting leadership and employees in achieving organizational goals.
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives to enhance workforce engagement and retention.
- Facilitate recruitment, onboarding, and talent management processes to ensure a seamless employee experience.
- Collaborate with managers to address employee relations issues and foster positive workplace culture.
- Utilize data analysis to identify trends and implement strategies for reducing turnover and absenteeism.
- Provide coaching and training to leaders, enhancing their effectiveness and leadership capabilities.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and ethical practices in all HR operations.
- Support labor relations activities and contribute to HR project initiatives as needed.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Build local sourcing pipelines and strategies to address current and future talent needs.
- Drive workforce planning and talent acquisition efforts to support business growth.
- Enhance onboarding processes and collect feedback to improve new hire experiences.
- Analyze workforce data to develop strategies for improving retention and engagement.
- Provide guidance and coaching to managers on employee relations and development.
- Ensure HR policies and practices comply with legal and ethical standards.
- Facilitate leadership development programs to strengthen managerial capabilities.
- Collaborate on HR projects and initiatives to drive organizational improvements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of HR generalist experience; 10 years preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and HRIS tools; PHR/SPHR certification preferred.
- Strong recruitment experience; bilingual Spanish and labor relations experience a plus.
- Sound knowledge of labor laws and government requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving, data analysis, and project management skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive matters with integrity and confidentiality.
- Willingness to travel to multiple locations within upstate New York.
