Job Description

Overview

  • Provide critical financial support in billing, collections, accounts payable, and expense management within a dynamic finance team.
  • Assist in month-end close activities and balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring compliance and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with team members to calculate commissions and maintain adherence to compensation plans.
  • Support audit preparation and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
  • Utilize advanced financial software and Excel skills for effective data analysis and reporting.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage invoicing processes, ensuring timely collection of accounts receivable and accurate billing.
  • Process vendor invoices and oversee payment cycles for accounts payable operations.
  • Review and monitor employee expenses to ensure compliance with organizational policies.
  • Calculate and update commission schedules in alignment with established compensation plans.
  • Assist with journal entries, accruals, and month-end close activities to maintain financial accuracy.
  • Prepare and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations for precision and compliance.
  • Support audit schedule preparation and adherence to GAAP standards and internal controls.
  • Utilize financial software tools for efficient data management and reporting processes.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • 2-4 years of progressive accounting experience is preferred for this role.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles is essential.
  • Proficiency with financial software such as NetSuite, Salesforce, Avalara, and Ramp is required.
  • Advanced Excel skills and keen attention to detail are necessary for success.
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are crucial for this role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.
