Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Discuss patient symptoms and collect vital signs for accurate medical assessments.
- Administer medications and vaccines in compliance with healthcare protocols.
- Perform phlebotomy and manage diagnostic specimen collection for laboratory analysis.
- Ensure thorough documentation of patient information in electronic medical records systems.
- Maintain and sterilize medical equipment, ensuring examination rooms are prepared for use.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to deliver integrated patient care services.
- Support operational tasks and contribute to customer service excellence.
- Adhere to organizational policies and exercise discretion in task prioritization.
Job Requirements
- Completion of a recognized Medical Assistant training program or certification.
- High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification is required.
- Mandatory CPR certification for patient-facing roles.
- Experience with medication administration, vaccine handling, and phlebotomy preferred.
- Familiarity with HEDIS, CPT/ICD coding, and patient experience metrics is advantageous.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
- Tuberculosis screening is required as part of the health program.
