Job Description

Overview

  • Lead the growth of the evergreen registered fund business, collaborating with teams to ensure operational excellence and strategic alignment.
  • Develop and manage strategic relationships with distribution platforms in the wealth management channel.
  • Coordinate fund operations, investor relations, marketing, and distribution strategies to drive business success.
  • Create and maintain marketing collateral, including presentations, quarterly investor call content, and portfolio review materials.
  • Collaborate with Portfolio Manager on fund management, distributions, liquidity, and investor communications.
  • Ensure seamless execution across legal, accounting, fund administration, operations, investor relations, compliance, and distribution teams.
  • Oversee recurring reporting for investors and the Board, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and clarity.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage all aspects of fund operations and business growth, excluding investment decisions and external marketing.
  • Develop and execute marketing initiatives for the fund, including fundraising presentations and investor call content.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with distribution platforms in the wealth management channel.
  • Coordinate cross-functional collaboration to ensure seamless execution of fund operations and strategies.
  • Oversee investor and Board reporting, ensuring accuracy and clarity in deliverables.
  • Collaborate with Portfolio Manager on fund management, including distributions and liquidity.
  • Drive business growth through strategic planning and operational excellence.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; CFA, CAIA, or MBA preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in financial services, including investment management and private markets.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with internal teams and external clients.
  • Experience with 1940 Act Funds and private markets is a plus.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in deliverables.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear and persuasive messaging.
  • Professional demeanor with an entrepreneurial mindset and strong sense of ownership.
