Job Description

Overview

  • Lead SEC reporting and equity administration processes, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and supporting strategic organizational initiatives.
  • Prepare and review SEC filings, including 10Ks and 10Qs, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate audit activities and maintain SOX 404 processes to strengthen internal controls and compliance.
  • Manage equity plans, including stock-based compensation and reconciliations, ensuring seamless administration and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with external auditors during audits and interim reviews to facilitate efficient processes and compliance.
  • Support quarterly earnings releases and investor relations presentations with precise financial data and insightful analysis.
  • Engage in special projects and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the financial reporting domain.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Prepare and review SEC filings, including 10Ks, 10Qs, and related disclosures, ensuring compliance and consistency.
  • Manage equity plans, including journal entries, reconciliations, and personnel updates, in collaboration with HR and Legal teams.
  • Support external auditors during audits and interim reviews, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Maintain and update Sarbanes-Oxley 404 processes and procedures to strengthen internal controls.
  • Provide training and guidance on accounting developments to business partners, fostering organizational knowledge.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment on financial reporting and compliance strategies.
  • Contribute to special projects and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize financial reporting processes.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.
  • 5-8 years of experience in public accounting or SEC reporting roles, showcasing expertise in financial compliance.
  • Proficiency in financial reporting tools such as Workiva, SAP, and/or OneStream.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP principles, SEC regulations, and stock-based compensation practices.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Excellent project management and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration across teams.
  • Proven ability to present insights to executive leadership and contribute to strategic decision-making.
