Job Description

Overview

  • Manage the punch list process for multifamily construction projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
  • Collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, property managers, architects, and owners to ensure project deliverables are met.
  • Utilize Procore software to set up and manage punch lists effectively, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
  • Coordinate with property management and owners for unit readiness and final walkthroughs.
  • Participate in project progress meetings to address any schedule accelerations or delays.
  • Ensure site cleanliness, security, and quality measures are maintained throughout the project.
  • Provide final sign-off for units, managing turnover of keys and other items.
  • Work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings, to meet project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Familiarize with project documents, finish selections, and schedules to ensure timely delivery.
  • Set up and manage punch tools in Procore, utilizing standard unit readiness checklists.
  • Enforce completion of work as dictated by the project schedule to maintain deadlines.
  • Communicate unit readiness and schedule updates with stakeholders, including owners and property managers.
  • Participate in daily and weekly project meetings to ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Ensure punch lists are completed and ready for sign-off and acceptance.
  • Assist with maintaining site cleanliness, access, and security measures.
  • Coordinate final turnover procedures, including keys and miscellaneous items.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction, preferably multifamily housing projects.
  • Proficiency in Procore, Microsoft Project, and Excel for project management tasks.
  • Ability to read and understand plans, specifications, schedules, and project documents.
  • High School Diploma or GED required; additional certifications are advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of construction industry standards and job site safety requirements.
  • Dependable transportation to the site and availability for flexible working hours.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders effectively.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
