Overview

  • Provide essential rehabilitative services under an Occupational Therapist's supervision, enhancing patients' independence in daily activities.
  • Work primarily with adult and geriatric patients recovering from surgeries or illnesses in a home care setting.
  • Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to deliver personalized therapeutic care plans.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, ensuring accurate and timely updates to care plans.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

Job Requirements

  • Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Occupational Therapy Assistant or related field.
  • Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license, open to new graduates.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience, with 2 years preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of therapeutic exercises and patient care practices.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills.
