Overview

  • Provide specialized speech-language pathology services to patients in an academic hospital setting.
  • Evaluate and treat patients with communication and swallowing disorders.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and swallowing disorders.

  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve communication and swallowing abilities.
  • Educate patients and families on therapy techniques and adaptive equipment usage.

Job Requirements

  • Master's degree in Speech Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Current certification with Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies to practice Speech Pathology.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
