Overview

  • Provide proficient direct patient care in a cardiac catheterization lab setting, ensuring safety and optimizing outcomes.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Prepare the environment and assess patients before procedures, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
  • Respond to life-threatening situations using established nursing standards and protocols.
  • Provide patient education tailored to individual needs, age, culture, and circumstances.
  • Monitor patients during procedures to maintain a safe environment and optimize outcomes.
  • Handle critical and stressful situations with efficiency and composure.
  • Participate in on-call rotations, meeting or exceeding call requirements for bonus eligibility.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain compliance with organizational policies, values, and mission.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program.
  • State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) and relevant certifications.
  • Minimum of 1 year of RN experience; 2 years preferred.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA or Red Cross before start date.
  • Critical thinking skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
  • Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and meet call requirements.
