Overview
- Perform routine radiographic procedures ensuring high-quality imaging across main and satellite locations.
- Assist with fluoroscopic procedures while maintaining clean and adequately stocked rooms.
- Assess patient condition, ensuring proper positioning and safe transfer techniques.
- Adhere to ALARA principles and infection control policies to minimize radiation exposure.
- Accurately complete requisitions and verify patient identity using two identifiers.
- Operate diagnostic radiographic equipment and promptly report equipment malfunctions.
- Supervise and support clinical instruction of student radiographers.
- Maintain professional competency through continuing education and compliance with certification requirements.

- Operate diagnostic radiographic equipment and report malfunctions promptly.
- Supervise and support clinical instruction of student radiographers.
- Maintain professional competency through continuing education and certification compliance.
Job Requirements
- Graduation from an AMA-approved two-year Radiologic Technology program.
- Minimum of two years of experience as a Staff Radiologic Technologist in a hospital setting.
- Current New York State licensure in Radiologic Technology.
- Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) preferred.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required.
- Strong communication, time management, and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer and data entry tasks.
- Commitment to maintaining professional competency through continuing education.
