Job Description

Overview

  • Act as a strategic HR partner, driving workforce strategies and aligning HR initiatives with organizational goals.
  • Support leadership and employees by fostering a positive workplace culture and enhancing engagement.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies to improve workforce retention and satisfaction.
  • Facilitate recruitment, onboarding, and talent management processes to ensure seamless employee experiences.
  • Provide coaching and training to managers to enhance leadership effectiveness and capabilities.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to identify trends and implement strategies for workforce optimization.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and ethical practices in all HR operations.
  • Support labor relations activities and contribute to HR project initiatives as needed.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop local sourcing pipelines and strategies to address current and future talent needs.
  • Drive workforce planning and talent acquisition efforts to support organizational growth.
  • Enhance onboarding processes and collect feedback to improve new hire experiences.
  • Analyze workforce data to develop strategies for improving retention and engagement.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to managers on employee relations and development.
  • Ensure HR policies and practices comply with legal and ethical standards.
  • Facilitate leadership development programs to strengthen managerial capabilities.
  • Collaborate on HR projects and initiatives to drive organizational improvements.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of HR generalist experience; 10 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and HRIS tools; PHR/SPHR certification preferred.
  • Strong recruitment experience; bilingual Spanish and labor relations experience a plus.
  • Sound knowledge of labor laws and government requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving, data analysis, and project management skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive matters with integrity and confidentiality.
  • Willingness to travel to multiple locations within upstate New York.
