Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Draft and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents in federal and state courts.
- Conduct substantive cite-checking and formatting of briefs and filings.
- Coordinate service of complaints and subpoenas, ensuring compliance with legal standards.
- Organize and maintain electronic case files and discovery materials.
- Monitor court dockets and manage deadlines effectively.
- Support depositions and trial preparations, including exhibit preparation and coordination.
- Utilize e-discovery platforms for document review and discovery productions.
- Collaborate with investigative analysts and litigation support teams on critical projects.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; completion of an ABA-accredited paralegal program preferred.
- Five or more years of experience in complex litigation support.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, Westlaw, and PACER.
- Knowledge of Federal Rules of Civil Procedure and local court rules.
- Experience with e-discovery platforms like Relativity.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities effectively.
- Flexibility to work overtime and adapt to dynamic work schedules.
