Job Description

Overview

  • Lead and manage construction projects ranging from $2M to $20M, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
  • Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders to maintain project alignment and satisfaction.
  • Oversee ground-up and renovation commercial projects across diverse industries including retail, education, and manufacturing.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and construction standards throughout project execution.
  • Develop and implement project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
  • Maintain strong relationships with repeat clients and referral networks in the Greater Nashville area.
  • Collaborate with the internal team to optimize operational efficiency and project outcomes.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams, fostering professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Supervise all aspects of construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders, highlighting key milestones and challenges.
  • Implement safety protocols and conduct regular safety audits on construction sites.
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during project execution promptly and effectively.

Job Requirements

  • Associate of Science (AS) degree in Construction Management or related field required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management; 10 years preferred.
  • Proven track record of managing commercial projects with budgets between $2M and $20M.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage teams and liaise with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools for scheduling and reporting.
  • Ability to work on-site and manage multiple projects in the Greater Nashville area.
