Overview
- Assist in planning, budgeting, and overseeing capital projects for infrastructure and facilities management.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align project plans with organizational objectives.
- Support design and construction phases to ensure project completion within budget and schedule.
- Contribute to procurement processes, including RFQs, RFPs, and contract awards.
- Monitor project progress and address variances proactively to maintain timelines.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, and contractors to review project deliverables.
- Compile research findings into concise reports and presentations for stakeholders.
- Promote adherence to quality standards and organizational policies throughout project execution.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Develop project scopes, cost estimates, and schedules for design and construction projects.
- Coordinate master schedules to align construction timelines with organizational objectives.
- Oversee General Contractors and Construction Managers for timely project execution.
- Maintain strong relationships with staff, consultants, contractors, and vendors.
- Ensure accurate and organized project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Facilitate productive discussions among diverse stakeholders to address project challenges.
- Adhere to confidentiality rules and organizational policies in all activities.
- Perform other related responsibilities and special projects as required.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or Facilities Management.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in project coordination or related field.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Understanding of construction processes, building systems, and design principles.
- Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for diverse audiences.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative and diverse work environment.
- Experience with financial management applications and historical building projects preferred.
