  • Drive nursing education initiatives to enhance clinical competencies and professional development within the operating room environment.
  • Collaborate with healthcare leaders to identify training needs and develop impactful educational programs.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices and adult learning principles to design effective training experiences.
  • Monitor and evaluate program outcomes to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Stay informed on advancements in nursing practices and integrate them into training curricula.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and professional guidelines in all educational initiatives.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive needs assessments to identify knowledge and skill gaps among nursing staff.
  • Develop and deliver tailored education programs for operating room nurses and leaders.
  • Create and update curriculum materials for orientation and ongoing competency validation.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure training content is relevant and impactful.
  • Lead initiatives to integrate evidence-based practices into clinical education and operations.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of education programs and recommend enhancements.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to nursing staff to support their professional growth.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical teaching or nursing professional development.
  • Active Registered Nurse License and Basic Life Support certification required.
  • Certification in Nursing Professional Development by ANCC is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning theories and curriculum development methodologies.
  • Proficiency in program evaluation and quality improvement techniques.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to engage diverse stakeholders.
