Overview

  • Lead nursing operations at a renowned surgery center, ensuring exceptional patient care and operational efficiency.
  • Drive compliance with healthcare standards and accreditation requirements to uphold excellence.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize surgical processes and enhance outcomes.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to nursing staff, fostering professional growth and teamwork.
  • Oversee preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative nursing activities for seamless care delivery.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and long-term success through innovative initiatives.
  • Work closely with the Medical Director and administrative team to align operations with objectives.
  • Champion a culture of excellence, safety, and patient-centered care within the surgery center.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage nursing staff schedules to ensure optimal coverage for procedures and patient care.
  • Develop and implement policies to enhance care quality and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and accreditation standards, including AAAHC.
  • Coordinate with anesthesia providers and surgical teams for seamless operations.
  • Monitor patient outcomes and lead initiatives to elevate care standards.
  • Provide support in the operating room during breaks to ensure uninterrupted care.
  • Lead efforts to achieve and maintain AAAHC accreditation, driving organizational excellence.
  • Facilitate effective communication among staff and stakeholders to promote collaboration.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of nursing experience, with a focus on surgical or critical care settings.
  • Proven leadership experience in roles such as Charge Nurse or Nursing Director.
  • Comprehensive understanding of surgical processes and operating room dynamics.
  • Knowledge of AAAHC accreditation processes and healthcare compliance standards.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
