Job Description

Overview

  • Provide essential support in a healthcare setting as a Medical Assistant on a contract basis.
  • Assist with patient care, including rooming patients, obtaining vitals, and updating medical histories.
  • Administer injections, draw blood, and ensure accurate data entry into EMR systems.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Diploma in Medical Assisting preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
  • Proficiency in EMR systems, preferably eClinicalWorks.
  • Experience with rooming patients, obtaining vitals, and phlebotomy.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible weekday hours as required.
