Medical Assistant

Overview

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Room patients and obtain vital signs to support clinical assessments.
• Update patient medical histories accurately and efficiently.
• Administer injections and perform phlebotomy tasks as required.
• Ensure accurate and timely data entry into the EMR system.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver quality patient care.
• Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment.
• Adhere to clinic protocols and patient confidentiality standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service and support to patients and their families.

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Diploma in Medical Assisting preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Proficiency in EMR systems, preferably eClinicalWorks.
• Experience with rooming patients, obtaining vitals, and phlebotomy.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible weekday hours as required.
