Preconstruction Manager

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Develop comprehensive preconstruction plans, including cost estimates and schedules.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure alignment with client expectations and objectives.
• Analyze project specifications to identify potential challenges and opportunities.
• Lead bid preparation and negotiation processes to secure optimal project outcomes.
• Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure resource availability.
• Monitor industry trends and incorporate best practices into preconstruction strategies.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements during preconstruction phases.
• Collaborate with DEI committees to promote inclusive practices within project planning.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in preconstruction management; 10 years preferred.
• Proficiency in project estimation, scheduling, and construction software tools.
• Strong analytical skills to assess project requirements and deliver accurate solutions.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to interact with clients and stakeholders.
