Overview
- Lead commercial construction projects, including remodels, renovations, and ground-up builds, ensuring quality, safety, and client satisfaction.
- Oversee projects valued up to $7M from preconstruction through closeout, managing budgets, schedules, and subcontractor performance.
- Coordinate with owners, design teams, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
- Direct estimating, scheduling, and bid preparation efforts to ensure accurate project planning.
- Support on-site superintendents to maintain safety, quality, and compliance with project schedules.
- Track project progress, addressing risks, changes, and cost impacts proactively.
- Maintain clear communication with all project partners to ensure alignment and successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Manage multiple commercial construction projects across various locations nationwide.
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, subcontractor performance, and overall execution.
- Coordinate with owners, design teams, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Lead estimating, scheduling, and bid preparation efforts.
- Direct and support on-site superintendents to ensure safety, quality, and schedule compliance.
- Track project progress and proactively address risks, changes, and cost impacts.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with all project partners.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction.
- Proven experience with remodels, renovations, and ground-up construction projects up to $7M.
- Background in retail, banking, big box, or open-environment construction projects.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in estimating, scheduling, and contract administration.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
