Job Description

Overview

  • Provide technical support to end users, resolving hardware, software, and network issues efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to enhance system functionality and user experience.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of technical issues and resolutions for knowledge base improvement.
  • Educate users on new systems and best practices for effective technology utilization.
  • Perform routine maintenance and updates on devices to ensure security and performance.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance support services.
  • Support clients onsite in Nanuet 2-3 days per week, with occasional travel required.
  • Report directly to the Director of Engineering for guidance and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for hardware, software, and network systems.
  • Provide proactive customer outreach to understand and address technical needs.
  • Educate users on system applications and effective technology use.
  • Document technical issues and resolutions to maintain organized records.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve systems and user satisfaction.
  • Perform regular device maintenance and updates to ensure optimal performance.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Travel to client locations as needed, providing onsite technical support.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical support or help desk roles.
  • Preferred 5 years of experience in similar roles.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-oriented approach.
  • Familiarity with operating systems, applications, and network troubleshooting tools.
  • Willingness to work onsite in Nanuet 2-3 days per week.
  • Ability to travel occasionally to client locations.
