Overview

  • Support cybersecurity and IT operations teams in a dynamic, hands-on internship role.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Monitor security alerts, reports, and logs under senior staff supervision.
  • Assist in vulnerability scanning efforts and track remediation items.
  • Participate in risk assessments, incident response activities, and security investigations.
  • Support user access reviews and permissions audits.
  • Configure and maintain security tools such as MFA and endpoint security.
  • Engage in security awareness initiatives and user training sessions.
  • Improve internal documentation, workflows, and knowledge base resources.
  • Contribute to structured learning, mentorship, and shadowing opportunities.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 0–3 years of experience in IT, help desk, security, or related technical roles.
  • Basic understanding of networking, operating systems, or security concepts.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week on a consistent schedule.
  • Exposure to security tools like SIEM, EDR, or vulnerability scanners preferred.
  • Familiarity with scripting or automation tools such as Python or PowerShell is a plus.
