Overview
- Lead the development of scalable geospatial data pipelines for production ML systems.
- Design and operate imagery ingest, normalization, and cataloging pipelines across diverse sources.
- Collaborate with ML, infrastructure, and product teams to ensure data reliability and observability.
- Define best practices for dataset lifecycle management and versioning systems.
- Establish APIs for dataset access and implement metrics for data pipelines.
- Mentor engineers and promote geospatial and data engineering best practices.
- Operate in a fully remote environment with high ownership and autonomy.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Design scalable pipelines for imagery ingest and normalization.
- Optimize tiling/chipping pipelines for fast spatial queries and real-time data delivery.
- Implement QA workflows for data correctness and reproducibility.

- Define SLAs for dataset freshness, availability, and quality.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant field.
- 5+ years of experience in building geospatial systems in production environments.
