Overview
- Lead operations at a state-of-the-art outpatient surgery center with advanced equipment and diverse surgical specialties.
- Collaborate with physicians, staff, and governing boards to ensure clinical quality and operational efficiency.
- Oversee financial performance, staffing, and compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Drive quality improvement initiatives, infection control, and patient satisfaction efforts.
- Support physician credentialing processes and foster strong professional relationships.
- Develop and manage budgets for operations, staffing, and capital expenditures.
- Identify opportunities for service line development and operational enhancements.
- Work closely with leadership to ensure sustainable performance and consistent operations.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Oversee daily operations, including administrative, clinical support, and business functions.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, quality, and safety standards.
- Develop and manage operating, staffing, and capital budgets effectively.
- Monitor financial performance and address operational risks proactively.
- Support physician relationships, credentialing processes, and medical staff coordination.
- Manage vendor, service, and physician contracts efficiently.
- Drive quality improvement initiatives and enhance patient experience.
- Participate in operational reviews and facility performance reporting.
- Identify opportunities for service line development and operational improvement.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; advanced degrees preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in surgical leadership; 5 years preferred.
- Executive-level experience with strong operational management skills.
- Proven ability to build relationships with physicians and staff.
- Experience in quality improvement, infection control, and patient satisfaction initiatives.
- Knowledge of regulatory and accreditation standards in healthcare.
- Strong financial management and budget development skills.
- Ability to identify and implement operational improvements effectively.
