Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Reconcile third-party fund accountant reports to internal records, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Research and resolve fund accounting issues, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Analyze historical data for special requests and regulatory reporting, contributing to informed decision-making.
  • Draft procedural documents to support team operations and enhance departmental efficiency.
  • Maintain data integrity within internal systems, supporting accurate reporting and analysis.
  • Assist with daily accounting reconciliations and cash availability reporting for portfolio managers.
  • Participate in the review of financial statements and regulatory reports, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Support tax compliance oversight, reviewing deliverables and preparing analyses for distribution planning.
  • Develop and oversee aspects of Irish UCITS, enhancing global fund management capabilities.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, demonstrating a strong academic foundation.
  • Minimum 3 years of public accounting experience, with 6 years preferred, ideally in registered funds audit.
  • CPA license preferred, showcasing professional expertise and commitment to excellence.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for efficient data management and analysis.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring high-quality deliverables under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to address complex accounting challenges creatively.
