Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Reconcile third-party fund accountant reports to internal records, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Research and resolve fund accounting issues, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Analyze historical data for special requests and regulatory reporting, contributing to informed decision-making.
- Draft procedural documents to support team operations and enhance departmental efficiency.
- Maintain data integrity within internal systems, supporting accurate reporting and analysis.
- Assist with daily accounting reconciliations and cash availability reporting for portfolio managers.
- Participate in the review of financial statements and regulatory reports, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Support tax compliance oversight, reviewing deliverables and preparing analyses for distribution planning.
- Develop and oversee aspects of Irish UCITS, enhancing global fund management capabilities.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, demonstrating a strong academic foundation.
- Minimum 3 years of public accounting experience, with 6 years preferred, ideally in registered funds audit.
- CPA license preferred, showcasing professional expertise and commitment to excellence.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for efficient data management and analysis.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring high-quality deliverables under tight deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting.
