Job Description

Overview

  • Provide temporary receptionist support for a dynamic organization, ensuring smooth front desk operations and excellent visitor experiences.
  • Assist the Operations team with administrative tasks and office management responsibilities during a short-term assignment.
  • Engage in a hybrid work environment, balancing onsite and remote responsibilities effectively.
  • Contribute to maintaining organized and welcoming common areas for staff and visitors.
  • Support meeting and event setups, ensuring seamless execution of organizational activities.
  • Collaborate with the office manager and supervisor to fulfill delegated tasks efficiently.
  • Gain valuable experience in administrative and operational functions within a professional setting.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Answer the organization's main phone line, greet visitors, and manage mail and deliveries.
  • Perform office management tasks such as preparing coffee, organizing snacks, and tidying common areas.
  • Assist in setting up meeting rooms and events as directed by the office manager.
  • Ensure the reception area is welcoming and professionally maintained.
  • Support administrative tasks delegated by the office manager and supervisor.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure operational efficiency and visitor satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and visitor logs as required.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; additional administrative training is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a receptionist or administrative role preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in basic office software and communication tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to interact professionally with visitors and team members.
