Project Manager – Commercial Construction

Overview

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets for commercial construction projects.
• Monitor project progress and performance, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to address project requirements and resolve issues effectively.
• Manage subcontractor relationships and oversee their performance on-site.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and construction codes throughout project execution.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address challenges proactively.
• Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders and senior management.
• Facilitate effective communication among team members and stakeholders to ensure alignment.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (BS) in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in commercial construction project management.
• Proven expertise in managing ground-up construction projects, preferably in light industrial facilities.
• Strong knowledge of construction safety regulations and industry standards.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage teams and stakeholders effectively.
• Ability to travel as required to oversee project sites and ensure progress.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools for effective planning and execution.
• Experience in hybrid work environments, balancing on-site and remote responsibilities.
