Job Description

Overview

  • Lead and manage commercial construction projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate and supervise on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
  • Monitor progress and performance, addressing challenges and implementing solutions effectively.
  • Ensure strong communication and collaboration among project teams and stakeholders.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders, highlighting key milestones and achievements.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage the entire project lifecycle, from initiation to closure, ensuring successful delivery.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project alignment.
  • Implement effective risk management strategies to mitigate potential project issues.
  • Oversee procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring cost efficiency and quality.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Monitor and control project budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Facilitate effective communication among project teams, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality and progress adherence.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction project management.
  • Preferred 7 years of experience, including ground-up construction projects.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and building codes.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
  • Experience in healthcare or K-12 construction projects is a plus.
