Assistant Superintendent

Overview

• Contribute to the successful execution of commercial construction projects as an Assistant Superintendent.

• Support the Superintendent in managing schedules, architect relations, and shop drawings.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Assist in overseeing construction schedules and ensuring adherence to timelines.
• Coordinate with architects and review shop drawings for project accuracy.
• Support logistical and financial aspects of project management.
• Maintain effective communication with field teams and office-based project managers.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Participate in meetings to discuss project progress and address challenges.
• Contribute to the success of self-perform divisions in concrete and carpentry.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction project management; 4 years preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction schedules and architectural coordination.
• Proficiency in managing shop drawings and project documentation.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work on-site and collaborate with diverse teams.
• Familiarity with government and commercial construction projects.
